I'm pushing my abstracted landscapes to be more free. Using larger sweeps of colour with only hints of details. The painting is on a large canvas (70cm x 70cm) which enabled me to loosen up. There are some fabulous textures in the bottom of the canvas where I've used crackle paste. From a distance, these are not obvious, but as you get closer, you can see them more clearly. I hope this makes the piece work on two levels, from a distance and closer up
