I've had enough of grey winter, I'm just longing for summer days. I’ve been daydreaming of  warm and sunny meadows full of long grasses, lush flowers and an endless blue sky. So to beat the winter blues and shake off the gloom, I’ve gone full out summer for this painting. I’ve used a combination of techniques in it's creation. Flip cups for the sky and hill tops, a swipe for the grass background and I've added the grasses by hand once dry. To add to the fun, I flicked paint from a brush to create the tiny flowers. It was such fun to create  and I hope it brings a little bit of brightness to your day.
