There is a new art gallery in Cranbrook called 'Gallery 35' and I'm delighted that some of my paintings have been selected for display.
Gallery 35 was founded by Shirley Jenner with the aim to create a warm and friendly environment of local, affordable, contemporary art. They are a gallery and artists’ hub, focusing on bringing the creative community together with coffee mornings, artist talks, workshops and demonstrations.
The gallery exhibits a diverse group of emerging and established artists from the South of England. They are passionate about discovering new talent and supporting the careers of artists, creating a flourishing artist community in the busy town of Cranbrook.
They exhibit a variety of media in their space, including sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, jewellery and painting. This is to show off just how much diverse and creative talent there is in our part of the UK.
Five of my acrylic paintings are on display, including "Rock pool Shore", "Exhale", "Autumn Chase", "Farrow 1" and "Farrow 2". There is also a small selection of my mounted limited edition giclée prints.
There is a wonderful array of work in the gallery from paintings, prints, ceramics and some beautiful jewellery. It is well worth a visit. Samantha Butcher also has some her lovely work on display.
The gallery is located at 35 High Street, Cranbrook, Kent TN17 3DN.
Open Mon-Tues, Thurs-Sat from 10am-5pm (closed 1-2pm).
